I have found some other amazing photography blogs that I just love to stare at and enjoy their creativity. One fun thing they did yesterday was this Scavenger Hunt for different photos. I decided I will join in because as I have enjoyed photography more I feel like I see the world through an "angled" lens (meaning I see different ways to take pictures around me). Hope you find it fun too!

This weeks hunt:
- Mood
- Something Feminine
- Something Masculine
- Architecture
- First of Last Initial
MOOD: Here is our dog Otis waiting by, and enjoying, the new storm door we just put in. I can only imagine his mood:-)
SOMETHING MASCULINE: Here are my hubby's uniforms. The boots are nice and clean; getting ready for the upcoming deployment. I love to see the patches on his blouse which remind me of all that he has accomplished and our history as a military family.
SOMETHING FEMININE: I found this at my beloved store, TJ Maxx. I love how elegant and creamy it is. I couldn't believe that I found a place to put it! Here it hangs my jewelry.
FIRST or LAST INITIAL: I realized after trying to find my first or last initial that I didn't have any Monograms around the house! So I just found a large letter "E". I love this decoration because I made it from scratch! (no I did not cut out the letters...but basically everything else!)

Wow! That building is so ornate. Gorgeous!
SO glad to see you join in this week - you've got some great shots. I especially love your mood shot and architecture shot. I'm now following and I look forward to seeing more!
Great shots Elissa! You definitley have a gift. I didn't realize that Mike was a Seabee! I'm oblivious I think. ha! How much longer are you guys in VA?
you have a great eye for pictures! the one of the uniform brought back memories of my sweet daddy. i just loved to see him in his 'dress blues'. all starched and so handsome in them. and i loved his little blue hat that folded up flat.
I love this- thanks for sharing! I think I might link up to this weekly challenge as well- sounds fun!!!
These photos are really beautiful. I love the one of your husband's uniform. There's something so vintage about that shot.
