16 Weeks and OH Baby!

Yup, hitting the 4 month mark is kinda fun. Perhaps since my body has had 2 other children in it, it sticks out a little further so I may look pregnant to some, but still look like I have a beer belly to others. This tri started off quite rocky as my nausea kicked it up a notch and I was using the toilet for unpleasant things (not potty). Always interesting trying to keep Austin away from the toilet while I am trying to "feel better". Guess there are some memories that are just destined to be made! I remember hearing about taking Vit B6 to help with the nausea and let me tell you...it was either God saying I had had enough or Him using this Vit B6 to make me feel better. It is a night and day difference and I am so grateful for that! I don't think I could have made it 6 more months with my head in the jon.

I am in to my pregnancy clothes, however I did have to buy some new pants because my other ones have been stretched too much. It is kinda sad to realize though that someday soon I will fill those old big pants:-( Plus this time I weighed the least out of all three pregnancies before getting pregnant. Kinda nice...lets hope I don't ruin that! All for a good cause right?

My cravings have gone down, but I still stay away from sweets which is so nice. Fruit is still a demand and I have grown to love a few freezie pops at night. It is weird because it isn't specific foods I crave, more of the temperature and texture that I long for. I can't wait for my sis to come out this weekend because then we have an excuse to get some PF Changs....mmmm:-)

I bought this crazy large maternity pillow and when you see the picture you will laugh and probably think I am crazy. At first the fluffy-ness of it was too much and I didn't know how I would move in it once I am huge, but after a few weeks of using it, I LOVE it! It is working so well and I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud! Any preggo mom out there should get a maternity pillow, maybe not this big, but one that fits you right...so worth the money! Despite the wonderful cloud pillow my lower back pain has yet again started. I had it with the boys later in pregnancy, but this time....man... OWE! I am going to make an appointment with the doc to see if I can get a referral to see a Chiropractor or perhaps a Physical Therapist for some back exercises. I don't want to complain about it because I am so grateful for this little addition.

I believe I have felt this little one kick once or twice at night when I am relaxing. I can't wait till I can have "conversations" with it pushing on me and me pushing on it (gently of course). Plus when Logan gets to feel it move that will be so much fun:-)

Not much else new! My mom comes to visit in a few weeks and she will be going with me to my next visit. I have heard the baby's heartbeat a few times and it is consistently in the 150's...nice and strong! Do you remember if your baby's heartbeat coincided with the old wives tale of high=girl and low=boy?

One, you have the cutest little pregnant body ever! Two, I LOVE your pillow. I had a smaller one (I think) of the Snoogie, when I was preggo, and loved it. I tossed it after my pregnancy because it had loss its fluffiness under my gigantic preggo body, but really plan on using one in a future pregnancy! And three, Brayden's heart beat was always SUPER fast, like 160-170, so it was wrong for me there :)

Aww! You look so cute! I want to get a maternity pillow next time {if there is a next time}. I saw a chiropractor towards the end of this last pregnancy, it helped sooo much! I am pretty sure both boys were around 145-155.

You look so skinny and beautiful as always, E!!! I love that shirt. And that pillow confuses me. ha ha. Finn's heartbeat was in the 170's in the beginning and then was consistently in the 150's. I think Jack's was in the 160's. I don't buy into that stuff though. I feel like you carried Logan and Austin pretty similarly in the belly, so it will be fun to compare this belly to them. Remember how high Finn sat in my belly? So fun! Glad your sickness is dying down.

Hey Elissa! I'm glad to hear that the B6 is helping with the nausea. I can't imagine being a single parent to two little ones AND being pregnant. You're amazing!! Both girls' heartbeats were consistently in the 150's.

your belly is not big, what are you talking about..it's tiny!! Cute and tiny:). That pillow is crazy. I'm confused just looking at it. I don't know what I'd ever do with all those bends and curves..I'd get tied in a knot! hahah. Glad you are liking it though! Lucky that you aren't craving sweets. I'm so jealous! :)

I just seriously laughed out loud at Casey's comment, imagining her all twisted up like a pretzel in that pillow :) Miss you girls!
