Dear Daughter,
You are a mother now. Your life will never be the same now.
You will have fears and anxiety that you never knew you would have. Don't worry, "I am holding you by your right hand-I, the Lord your God - and I say to you, don't be afraid; I am here to help you." (Isaiah 41:13)
You will wonder about your child's future. Don't worry, "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
You will make decisions or say something that you will regret with your child. Don't worry, for his mercy toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west. Psalms 103:11-12
You will feel guilt about numerous things. Don't worry, for there is no condemnation awaiting those who belong to Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1
You will feel lonely at times even though you have a house full of noise. Don't worry, fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victories right hand." Isaiah 41:10
You will go through trials as you raise your children. Don't worry, these trials are only to test your faith, to see whether or not it is strong and pure. 1 Peter 1:7
You will have difficult times in your marriage with your husband. Don't worry, wives, fit in with your husbands' plans; for then if they refuse to listen when you talk to them about the Lord, they will be won my your respectful, pure behavior. Your godly lives will speak to them better than any words. 1 Peter 3:1
You will have moments when you feel like you have no more patience. Don't worry, and let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up. Galatians 6:9
You will want the best for your family and wonder how to give it to them. Don't worry, you should be like one big happy family, full of sympathy toward each other, loving one another with tender hearts and humble minds. 1 Peter 3:8
You will be confused by circumstances in your life. Don't worry, trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence rely no; in all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3-6
You will wonder about life after death. Don't worry, "for God loved the world so much that he gave his only son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Love,
Your Father
