I was a bit distracted this week with getting into a new groove of single-parent-living while having a talking computer as my partner. HEHE. But I had some fun thinking of these shots. Some are not too creative I know. I did realize that I don't have a lot of red in my house! So sad!
The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You're encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge.
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I'm not too strict about it - I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Monday at the latest) - you can use the new button.
- Have fun!
This is what I came up with for this week!
RED: I am doing a project for my son so he can help count down the days till Daddy comes home. I used this wonderful red paint. I need more red in my house!
HOMESPACE: My boys found this lovely HUGE spider outside the other day. Yes, it is within reach for them...too scarey! They did get to see it catch a dragon fly though:-) This is the spiders homespace because I am NOT going to touch it!
ROCK: My mother-in-law painted this rock for my oldest son. They have enjoyed it being around! (yes I mean tossing it)
SHARP: At first I am sure you are confused, but this is what happened to my Sweet Potato Vine after it was rained on. Yes, it shredded it to pieces. Crazy to think that rain can be sharp!
Here are next weeks line up! Hop on over to Ramblings and Photos to check out her great pictures and many more! Thanks for stopping by:-)

That is a good fence photo. I've seen those spiders before, I am pretty sure they are harmless but they are HUGE and scary looking, thats a good photo of one, I like the web.
Beautiful photos! Spiderman would have worked for red too. LOL! I still need 1 of the pictures. Hopefully have mine posted later.
Orb weavers are some wicked looking spiders aren't they. Just WAIT until you see her egg sac. It's HUGE. At least 4X bigger than the spider itself. And looks sort of like a mud daubers nest.
love the fence... I would like to see your project.. for your son it sounds so cool, WOW your MIL is a great painter...
These are great! I love the spiderman rock! I hope your little ones' daddy is home safely and soon!
These are wonderful shots - I think you were right to pull out your fence shot...it is so great. I hope you have a great week and I look forward to your interpretations for next week.
Those are great, and I love that you are doing a project with your son to count down the days till daddy is home! That's such a neat idea. The spiderman rock is SO COOL (your mother-in-law must be too)!

SPIDERMAN ROCK!!!! Well now I know what I'm doing with my youngest this week. Thanks for the idea.
Oh and your fence shot... fabulous!
That spidey rock is just awesome. That confused me more than the sharp photo because it looked like a mask at first glance.
Oh, what fabulous photos you shared!! And I can see why you had to get the fence photo out of the archives!! I think it's my favorite interpretation of "fence" I've seen today!
I'm in the Simplicity SLR Photography class with you and just wanted to stop by and say hi. I'm looking forward to more of your work. :)
love the split rail fence my first week at this challenge and I have loved every photo so far.
I love your fence shot! Also, that spider pic is CRAZY! (crazy that it's soooo huge, and also, really amazing detail. I don't like spiders, but the picture is really good!)
